Hello, I have been asked to develop an app and deliver them for Android, iOs and HTML5. This is the first time I face a project for other platform than HTML5. Any advice on how to face the project, I am particulary concerned about the Interface resolution. Any advice you can give me to save time I will really appreciate them
With regards
Luis
I’ve encountered some problems adapting OpenFL projects from HTML5 to Android and iOS, mostly due to support for media files such as videos and audios. In my case, the solution was to either distribute HTML5 content as a PWA or use a webview-based app generator such as Apache Cordova or Ionic Capacitor. In these cases, the concern with interface resolution falls on the same solutions you give for HTML5 content.
It is really much simpler to have a mac pro for using ios and signing up for a developers account. But not had one for years.
I think NME cppia can be great to test out Android, I am not sure if OpenFL currently provide as seamless approach as Acadnme… but it is probably no longer on google play. Generally you can remap the openfl package to nme, but openfl maybe much simpler on html5 since it is js and there is no load the C++ delay.
FeathersUI and HaxeUI are good UI library choices for those platforms.
