I am in the process of transitioning from Air to openFL ( finally ), so please excuse any questions about obvious things I might miss in the overwelming new things to learn.
In Air I used Starling for nearly all my projects to handle the basics regarding responsiveness and AssetManagement, with the FeathersUI for all the ones that needed an eloborate UI.
Now even though Starling is available for openFL, and once Feathers is ported, I am sure I will be more at home again.
Until that time I would like to learn the different concepts of how to deal with scaffolding projects and responsive design basics.
