A long time ago, Haxe enabled support for targeting multiple target languages (such as JavaScript and C++) while a cross-platform framework enabled support for multiple target platforms (such as Windows and Linux).

I have already discovered this Hxp before and found it to be great as a cross-platform command. I often need to write some custom tools for Window or Mac. But maybe I need to get familiar with it.
