OpenFL 9.5.0, Lime 8.3.0, and SWF 3.4.0 Release

Isn’t your project “HTML5”?

Their project is Android, as noted in their first post in this thread:

FIXED:
I accidentally added an extra ::end:: in the AndroidManifest template.
Is it possible to get specific error details in this case? I spent several hours trying to figure out what was wrong.

Why has “openfl” been out for so long, and there are still so many errors in its construction?

Be specific : “so many errors” what are you talking about, exactly ? As it is, your question looks like poor trolling to me.

With all the features and targets it supports, I’m quite amazed at how few issues I encounter. And usually those are fixed lightning fast.

Unhelpful @785597448 :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

This is an open-source community driven project. If the project is important to you, such as it may support your endeavours, then contributing in some way helps others help you, as well as the community as a whole.

When you encounter errors, you can do something about it. Isolating and identifying an issue, then reporting it, or perhaps even offering a fix, is a great way to help out.

Translation may have differences,
I mean, the friend above said ‘there is a problem with publishing the APK’,
I have seen people react more than once with ‘publishing apk error’ ..

What I mean is, I have seen multiple times that people have reported encountering errors when publishing APK ..

Curious… I’ve always found Lime/OpenFL extremely stable and reliable. I highly recommend it to friends. It’s clear that this is a project made with a lot of passion and dedication.

do you realize that “there are people having issues publishing APKs” has absolutely nothing to do with “openFL has so many errors” ?

putting the blame on translation is pretty convenient

konung’s issue was with a malformed manifest template, how is that an “openfl error” ?

You’re making a very bold claim about “openFL having so many errors”, but then you can’t name any.

I can understand translation issues, up to a point. You don’t seem to realize that what you said is disrespectful to openFL’s maintainers and contributors. It’s also fake news.

Please think before posting

Sorry, I am still exploring openfl because I have seen several issues with publishing apks incorrectly. I thought it was an openfl error because I really don’t understand the process of publishing apks. I currently do not have a need to publish apks, so Sorry everyone

Hello!

Looks like there is a missing @:keep before the OrientationChangeListener declaration

@joshtynjala

I confirm that this was preventing device orientation changes from being detected when full DCE is enabled. Fixed on develop branch, and it should go into the next patch update.
