Implementation of the fl.controls package?

I recently just searched for a Colour Picker for as3/haxe, and while I was searching I came across the fl.controls package on Adobe’s API website: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/fl/controls/package-detail.html

Is the open implementation for this package in the pipeline or being planned? Or is this something you would rather leave out for when the current implementation is more stable? I’m considering writing a simple extension library that typedefs these controls, which should be easy enough to do, but not sure what your thoughts were.

I believe these require the use of an extra SWC that came packaged with Flash Professional CC, and were not included in Flash Player. I could be wrong.

With that in mind, I wonder if these are designed in a way we’d want to use nowadays, or if another replacement (like HaxeUI type stuff or I have classes I use in my “gui” library or something new) would work better?
