Context for others:
No I don’t think you should as a rule, ignore all warnings.
Warnings aren’t show stoppers, but depending on the warning, it might be important. And that’s what it really boils down to: it depends.
A better rule perhaps is: understand all warnings. Then, at your discretion, ignore them.
