HTML5 MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN in mobile browsers

No, PiratePig seems to work fine. Also FireFox on Android works flawlessly.
I stumbled over this rather old thread: HTML5 Mobile browser MouseEvents not triggering
Is there a connection?
